Submission Guidelines
WHAT KIND OF WORK DOES PHENOMENA ACCEPT?
We accept any work created by an Undergraduate Sociology
student including, but not limited to:

Research Papers
-
Essays
-
Articles
-
Creative Writing (fiction, non-fiction, prose and poetry)
-
Photography and Visual Art (must be accompanied by a brief description)
So long as any of the above fall within the realm of Sociology

Content and novelty:
-
We look for original work that is of interest and impact to the academic community, contributing to the student knowledge base

We want diversity in opinion and content, so we encourage students to write about whatever topics interest them

Style & Citations:
-
We only accept work in English ​
-
As this is a Sociological Journal, we accept citations and references in line with ASA standards and guidelines

HOW DO I SUBMIT?
1. Be sure to review all the guidelines on this page.
2. Select one or multiple works that fit the journal's criteria
3. Send your submission in a Word doc format to the managing editor at phenomena.queensu@gmail.com
NOTE: The Journal cannot process submissions in PDF format, so please be sure to use Word format ONLY.
4. Attach the Academic Integrity and Permission to Publish form to your email
